The Orkan River Route:
Following the Orkan river
(info here)
, this path takes travelers from the Dunau lake
(info here)
all the way down to the Réaltan/Terrian border.
From there, you can still follow the river, which leads into Quetzalcoat's jungle territory, or if you go in the other direction, the Mystical Weald, the Huunhli's strange land.
The latter option has never been used and is not highly recommended, as that tribe is reclusive and chases out intruders.
If a traveler did manage to cross through the Mystical Weald unhindered, the Orkan river would take him to the ocean, leaving him or her relatively close to the Screeching Islands.
But, if one flew in the other direction, you would come up to another river tributary which leads to the great lake of Archaya.
Just beyond this tributary, the Quetzalcoat's territory lies, and further on is the Suhtaka's hostile land, then a small stretch of the Heliosion's grassy plains, and finally the ocean itself!
Also, if one chooses to cross a short stretch of the Quetzalcoat's jungle, one will reach the Writhing Grotto, home to the ocean Mermizus.
The Archaya Lake Route:
Perhaps it comes to no surprise that this particular route is much shorter and traveled than the Orkan river path.
The Archaya lake route starts at the Dunau lake, the center of the Réaltan's society, the Archaya lake route follows the Orkan river across the peninsula.
Soon it curves away to make a beeline to the lake shore, and then across the lake to the large Conference island, where merchants can trade wares with other tribes' merchants.
