This page was created for convenience and so I could group all the information about these unique dragons in one place.

Appearance:

• The storm dragons always look slightly different from the others, with longer tails and a broader wingspans.

• However, they resemble the other Réaltans in many ways.

• In general, a storm dragon has the same color theme, markings, and antenna that all normal dragons have.

• The storm dragons' markings will glow when they're creating or controlling a storm.

• Experienced storm dragons can even control how much their markings glow and some can even prevent themselves from glowing.

Abilities:

• The storm dragons can breathe a strange blueish-white fire, from which many electric sparks emanate.

• They can also control lightning and use it to power the Astéres Observatory (info here) and even fill the Radi city with light.

• Most scientists believe that the electricity of the lighting causes the storm dragons' markings to glow.

• There are about ten such dragons at any given year, from the lively young to the ancient adults.

Origins:

• Many scientists believe that storm dragons' abilities is some sort of rare, genetic trait.

• A small minority claim that instead, it's only proof that the storm dragon legend is true (info here) .

• Still more say that the storm dragons are the only true dragons, a view that is unsurprisingly unpopular and almost certainly false.

• However, all debaters can agree that storm dragons are rare for a reason, likely genetic, though the cause is yet to be figured out.

• Another shared view is that the storm dragons' very nature is what causes them to be rare - which most Réaltans believe is a good thing.

Treatment and Fears:

• The storm dragons live out their lives, never quite accepted by most of the others of their kind.

• The Full Circle has also begun to fear the storm dragons because of what they can do.

• As a result, they are guarded at all times for "protection", but every storm dragon knows the truth: they aren't trusted.

• Most of them struggle to control their abilities, because they fear or hate them, often because the dragons are ignored or feared.

• The storm dragons also worry about what would happen if they went insane, and hurt the ones they love.

• Also, the Storm Gate (info here) , takes up most of the dragons' storm energy, and can make them tired and snappy.

• Thus, they're more emotionally unstable, to the extent that some believe that they are cursed.

• However, some have accepted their abilities and that most dragons don't trust them.

• These storm dragons try to help the others understand and not fear their power, and use it for the good of their tribe.

• The Vindur Seekers, (info here) a small rebel group, aids storm dragons in every way possible - even when the actions are illegal.
